Today I am joined by Nathan Aspinall.
Thanks for joining me Nathan, hope you enjoy the interview!
Q1. You made the World Youth Championship final last year, how proud are you getting that far?
I was really proud of myself for getting to the final. I played really well all night in the qualifiers and the final was great experience for me, playing on TV. I played well in the final and felt i was the better player but it just wasnt to be.
Q2. What advice would you give to young people who want to be a professional dart thrower one day?
Practice, Practice and more practice. Play as much as you can and play in as many competitive competitions as you can as this gets you used to the pressure of competitive games. And as soon as your old enough get onto the PDC Development Tour as it is brilliant and will bring your game on massively. And will get you used to the PDC enviroment.
Q3. Do you think you can make it into World Championships this year?
I still have a chance of qualifying through the rankings but need a big push end of the year, but I know im capable of beating anyone on my day so yes.
Q4. Do you think you can get into the top 32 in the next year or so?
I am definitely capable of that but not really thought that far ahead yet, I'm just concentrating on getting into that top 64 retaining my tour card and we will see what next year brings.
Q5. How long have you been playing darts?
I have been playing darts for about 6-7 years now.
Q6. If you weren't playing darts, where would we find you?
When I'm not playing darts im either at work doing my accountancy job or with my Fiance and daughter having family fun.
Thanks for joining me Nathan, hope you enjoy the interview!
