Mark Webster v Daryl Gurney
1-0 Gurney hits 135 and finishes 72 on double top nicely to take the first leg from a steady throwing Webster.
2-0 Gurney hits a maximum followed by an amazing 167 check out, finishing on the bull for the highest checkout of the tournament so far – 12 darter.
2-1 Webster finishes leg strongly on double 18 to take a 15 darter.
3-1 Gurney starts strongly on 180, Webster replies, but fails to capitalise after gurney checks out on double 8
4-1 Gurney pulls away after throwing consistently whilst Webster struggles to find his rhythm. Scrappy leg and first one to go over 15 darts.
4 - 2 Another maximum for gurney followed by 140. Webster replies with 137 and capitalises on a poor checkout by Superchin to pull back a leg on double ten.

Alan Norris v Benito Van DePas
1-0 Scratchy start for both players who are failing to shake the scoreboard in any significant way. Van de Pas check outs on 46.

7-5 Another max for Norris and easily takes the leg despite missing three to finish. Van de Pas is a shade of the player who finished strongly before the break.
8-5 Strong scoring leg for both players but Norris takes his opportunity finishing on double 10 after Big Ben misses his tops chance.
9-5 Replica of the previous leg. Norris pulverises his opponent in scoring and finishes on double 10 again.
10-5 Norris takes the final leg finishing on double 7. Van de Pas never looked in it after returning from the break whilst Norris returned with heightened concentration, determination and scoring power.
Raymond Van Barneveld v Ron Meulenkamp
1-0 Barney starts with seven perfect darts but is a bit scrappy on the finish with multiple misses at 16 and 8.
2-0 Barney starts with another maximum and finishes in less than 5 darts. Meulenkamp no where near Van Barneveld who looks relaxed, focused and in the mood to make an impact this weekend.
2-1 Meulenkamp is really trying to land them but just cannot find the treble. No problems with double top though.
3-1 100, 134, 180, to start the leg by Barney, but misses three a tops with Meulenkamp still on 246. He quickly finishes off on the fourth attempt to take the leg.
3-2 Scrappy leg from both players with van Barneveld dipping below the 100 average for the first time and losing enough concentration to enable Meulenkamp to snatch an unexpected leg.
4-2 180 & 140 and another 13 darter for van Barneveld finsihing on 32. Meulemkamp trying hard to stay with him .
5-2 101 to 85 in the averages Barney's way, but Meulenkamp still hanging in there but losing patience in his throw. Barney switches to 36 for the finish to take the leg.
6-2 180, 100 and 105 in the first nine from Barney to pull 250 clear of his opponent. Misses tops to finish in 12 but hits double 10 to finish in 13 again.
6-3 Barney's scoring is too powerful for Meulenkamp to keep up with but again snatches a leg with a 100+ checkout finishing on double 5. Great darts.
7-3 Decent scoring by both players in this leg but Barney shows his class with a brilliant 161 checkout.
8-3 Meulenkamp hits his first 180 of the match but misses on double 5 when he gets a chance to finish. Barney hits back with two maximum's and sub-thirteen dart finish on 8's.
9-3 Uneventful leg – Barney takes the leg with the last dart on double 2. Win almost a certainty now.
10-3 Van Barneveld wraps up the match whilst attention turns to Hogan's potential upset of Lewis over on board 2.
Dave Chisnall v Peter Wright
0-1 Steady start from both players but Wright sets up a 14 darter with a tidy 129 setup for 32 finish.
1-1 Chizzy starts with his first maximum and checks out in 127. Wright wasn’t really in it.
2-1 Wright misses a 104 checkout on the final dart whilst Chizzy botches his own ton plus checkout before capitalising on Wright's miss. Leg to Chisnall.
2-2 Great set up of 24 after throwing 177 by Chisnall, but then he misses 3 doubles. Wright quickly mops up double top to take the leg.
2-3 180's from both players and Wright seems to have flicked the switch on in this leg. Wright misses an 84 checkout on double 14, but Chizzy misses out on his 130 attempt. Wright quickly returns to finish on double 7.
3-3 Chizzy returns from the break with nice scoring and a 100 finish with Wright 150 behind. Nice darts.
3-4 Wright doesn’t look as comfortable as he has in the past few weeks but cleans up on an 84 finish with Chisnall read to pounce if he misses.
3-5 Both scoring powefully so it looks like the winner of this one will be the one who finishes better. Chizzy misses 64 finish with two darts missed at double 8, Wright on the otherhand easily finishes at 41.
3-6 Chizzy has lost a little confidence and Wright has picked it up. He hits a max and cleans up 56 to leave Chizzy languishing on 357.
4-6 Chisnall returns to form with a lead off maximum which leads to a tidy 97 setup for a shot at double top which he completes in a single dart leading into the break.
5-6 Wright hits 60 twice in a row whilst Chisnall responds with a 180 and sets up a double 4. Wright can only score a ton chasing a 141 checkout but Chizzy comes back to finish on double 2.
5-7 Third maximum for Peter Wright leaves 81 after nine darts with Chisnall on 145. He cant finish on first attempt leaving 32 and neither can Chizzy. Wright returns to finish the 32 in 3.
5-8 Chisnall scores his sixth 180 and narrowly misses a 161 checkout when his bull attempt bounces out alas Gary Anderson. He misses next three as does Wright. Returns tomiss another 3 at 10 leaving double 2, and Wright exploits to take leg on 32.
5-9 Chizzy leads off with another 180 but Wright replies with his own to keep up. Both players averaging 100 at this stage, but Wright takes it with 52 finish.
Uneventful leg right up until Peter Wright narrowly misses tops after a well crafted attempt at a 160 finish. Chizzy misses his at 72 and Snakebite returns to finish and take the match.
