Today I am joined by 'The Real Deal' Mike De Decker.
Thanks for joining me Mike, hope you enjoy the interview!
Q1. You secured your tour card from the development tour events, how difficult was it especially the standard in the Youth tours?
It was very difficult! The standard on the youth tour is really high and its a tough field to go trough! There are alot of good players and u have to be playing well to win !
Q2. Are you confident that you can qualify for the World Championships this year?
I believe that I can qualify for the Worlds this year, but i have to step up my game a bit more to get over the line in some games that are close but that I lose.
Q3. What is it like being in the same management as Kim, Ronny, Mensur, Jelle, Dimitri and Kyle?
It's really great to be managed by someone like Mac Elkin. He is giving me an opportunity that alot of youngsters would dream of and i'm very happy ive got that chance.
Q4. What advice would you give to young people playing darts?
Always believe in urself, but keep a clear head!
Q5. What darting venue is your favourite to play in?
I havent been to alot of different places, but if i have to choose its gotta be Coventry. Thats were i won my first PDC Development tour so 🙂
Q6. Finally, who inspired you to play Darts?
My stepdad. He played darts when he was younger but stopped playing for a long time. 3years ago he started playing again and thats were i got to know the game.
